Bitch, Bitch, Bitch

Joe LunchboxGee whiz, what are the odds of this? It seems that the unions are getting their collective nuts in a knot over the loss of manufacturing jobs, mostly in Ontario but also elsewhere in the country.

Well cry me a frickin’ river, arseholes. Bleep off

Has it ever occurred to you dickheads that you are your own problem?? Yeah, you heard that right.

Carrie said workers are losing jobs that often pay more than $25 an hour with benefits and end up with low-paying service sector jobs.

The United Steelworkers union has led the charge this week, with provincewide demonstrations that briefly halted production at some plants while other plants were occupied for hours.

RantsSo, lemme see if I’ve got this shit straight: If the company that you work for doesn’t give in to your whining, bitching asses and keep paying you a shitload more than you’re worth, you’re gonna show them what’s what by… er… not working? I don’t know if you’ve been paying attention, shithead, but these jobs are LEAVING. And idiots like you are holding the door.

News flash, numbnuts: I don’t get no 25 bucks an hour! I work for a hell of a lot less than that. You assholes, on the other hand, get paid more than twice what I do, probably for a job that a trained chimp could pull off!! So just excuuuussssse me all ta hell if I don’t have any sympathy for your spoiled-brat asses.

Your labour is worth whatever somebody else is willing to pay for it, and not one God damned cent more.

Why, yes, I AM PISSED OFF… how can you tell?Gee, yer not makin’ 25 bucks an hour anymore? Boo-friggin’-hoo. Welcome to my world. Now shut the hell up and get to work.

The Undead Unstory

No more Mr Nice GuyCan somebody — hell, anybody; I don’t care who — please explain to me this Canuckleheaded obsession that we seem to have with embracing double standards? Seriously, folks; we’re starting to make ourselves look like we’ve got our heads so far up our butts, we chew our food twice. I know I’ve already given my snarky little 2¢ worth on this and I really, honestly did think that this would just fade into the woodwork like the social slight of hand that it is.

But, nooooooooooooo, that would make too much sense, wouldn’t it? This thing just won’t seem to stay dead. Like Marley’s ghost, it shambles around, gibbering like a TO homeless industry advocate in a private chinwag with mayor culpa David Miller. Granted, I would expect such shrill belly-button gawking from Quebec media, but the rest of the country can’t seem to quit picking at it, either. Even the union bobbleheads have hopped up on their hind legs to bark away about it.

Explains a lot…In case you’re one of the three people that haven’t figured out what I’m bellyaching about yet, I’m talking about the case of Carol Rioux. That’s right: the French guy in Alberta that lost his job because of crappy English on his part. That guy. What I don’t get is, why is this news?? I mean, think about it now. Think about it. With headlines like “Second look at French flap,” “Francophones up in arms,” and “Quebecer fired for bad English,” you’d think there was actually something to this. I’ve got a better headline for you. How about…

Not Bilingual, Canadian Loses Job

We could have a really cool follow-up story, too:

Man Takes Dump, Wipes Ass

What do these have in common? It’s simple: both happen every day in this country, every where. That’s why neither one is news. Bleep off

Utter BullshitGee, could it maybe have something to do with the fact that, this time, it’s happening to a French guy?? 😯 Well, we can’t have that now, can we? After all, official bilingualism is only supposed to screw the Anglos over; right?

Licia Corbella nailed it in today’s Edmonton Sun, hypocrisy and all. Could you imagine the reverse (an Anglo losing work because his French sucks) making news in Quebec? Mais non, bien sur!

Talk about pots and kettles…As far as I’m concerned, until I can get a job in la belle province with only the French I’ve got; Rioux, the unions, the handwringers, and all the other moonbats in general can clamp their flappin’ yaps ’round my purple-headed yogurt flinger, make like a shop vac, and chug-a-lug a few pints of Shut The F*ck Up®.

I’m an Anglo Assholeâ„¢ and I approve this message.

Rats In A Maze

Filed under: BS,Government,Justice,Ontario,Rants,Sick,Skullduggery,Unions,Waste — Dennis @ 2:37 pm

Ut Incepit Fidelis Sic PermanetLike rats in a maze.” That’s how Ombudsman Andre Marin described the way that the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board treats the victims of crime. So much for “helping the victims.”

For those of you that don’t know already, the CICB is the body that administers the Ontario’s Victim Justice Fund. The CICB is mandated by law to provide compensation to victims of violent crime and their families. Sounds like a good thing, right? The problem is that only about 1 in 40 victims actually get anything, and those that do still manage to get screwed by the bureaucrats

London, Ont., parent Aurelio Almeida, whose 5-year-old daughter Naiomi was raped and murdered in 2001, was challenged by the CICB to explain what his injuries were.

[…]

The mother of a woman who was decapitated had to provide a form in which a medical practitioner had drawn the location of the injuries on a diagram of a body.

Marin said the stalling and nitpicking was a deliberate attempt by the agency over the last decade to discourage claimants and stay within its budget as required by the ministry of the attorney general.

The OVJF gets its cash from victim surcharges — the extra money tacked on all provincial offences like speeding tickets and booze fines — that range from $10 to $125 until fine is $1,000 or more, when the victim surcharge becomes a flat 25%. That’s a buttload of money when you add it all up. So what DO they do with that money?

Among some of the bureaucratic asshattery that Marin found were:

  • Why, yes, I AM PISSED OFF… how can you tell?Staff at the board developed a “document fetish” and became so obsessed with having their lengthy application forms filled out perfectly that they rejected one man’s claim because he forgot to dot an i in his name.
  • Attorney General Michael Bryant broke the law by directing the board not to issue payments to save money and stay under budget.
  • Ontario’s Victim Justice Fund has an $80-million surplus that the government refuses to use to compensate victims of crime.
  • A man whose five-year-old daughter was raped and murdered who was treated as though he was trying to scam the board of money to pay for her funeral.
  • A mother of a murder victim “berated” for forgetting her file number.
  • A blind retiree who had to chose between buying food and burying her murdered daughter.

As much as I appreciate his bringing this mess to the light of day, Marin loses me when he starts saying that “It had no money. It was starved and forced into this situation and so the first thing we need to do is fund it properly.”

RantsAndre, buddy; the God damned thing’s got a surplus of EIGHTY MILLION BUCKS!! It ain’t cash-starved. 🙄 No; the problem here — like with so many other governmental bean-counting behemoths — is that the CICB and OVJF aren’t about helping victims at all. They’re about keeping a bunch of lazy, bloated, unionized bureaucrat parasites in jobs at public expense.

Don’t believe me? Well then, if I’m wrong, you’d expect the Fiberals to be hopping to get the damned mess fixed, wouldn’t you (after all, it is an election year)? Of course you would. But they’re not

AsshatteryAfter the report’s release, Conservative leader John Tory called on [Ontario Attorney General Michael] Bryant to resign.

What Bryant should do is toss out the CICB chair and the rest of the board. But Bryant indicated he wants them to help implement the changes. 😯

Talk about the fox and the friggin’ henhouse. But do you know what REALLY pisses me off about all this God damned this bullshit? IT’S BEEN GOING ON FOR OVER A DECADE!! The McSquinty Fiberals knew about it and did nothing. “Chainsaw” Mike’s Tory government knew about and did jack shit. When the Dippers were running the show, Bob Rae was as useless on this issue as he was on any other.

Well, it’s hit the fan now and everybody’s gotten splattered with shit; so can we please knock it off with all the partisan prickdom? This one is EVERYBODY’S FAULT…

Talk about pots and kettles…

So quit the squabbling and FIX THE DAMNED THING!!

Byelection Buzz 11.20.06

CampaigningE minus 7 days and counting.

Well, this makes for an interesting, if hardly surprising, turn in the London North Centre race: it seems that longtime NDP bedbuddy, the CAW, won’t be getting in line behind Dipper Megan Walker after all. Yup, the biggest union in the city is hopping on the Librano$’ Glen Pearson’s bandwagon. This really shouldn’t come as any kind of surprise to anybody though, considering that it’s been obvious for a while that the unions, one by one, are writing off Smirkin’ Jack! and Co. as a lost cause.

Joe LunchboxTwo reasons can be speculated for this: 1) the Dippers, while they may have their roots in down-to-earth types such as Joe Lunchbox and Farmer Bob, have been abandoning that base for years as they shift more and more to the elitist Looney Left and 2) unions have jumped on the “Anybody But Harper” boogeyman bandwagon and have come to the conclusion that Grits have a better chance of winning than Dippers and have chosen to go with a “strategic voting” strategy accordingly.

Isn’t it interesting, though, that in spite of all the hairballs hacked up by the MSM about Haskett being “too far to the Right” to win, every other campaign seems to be targeting her like she’s the candidate to beat (which she is, of course 😉 )…

Meanwhile, in Repentigny, Raymond Gravel seems to have gotten the hang of politics; he’s learned how to waffle.

Sacred cow tipping

What the moo??Well now, isn’t this interesting? The Canadian Medical Association, the Keepers of the Sacred Health Care Cow in Canada, have elected Brian Day, the owner of a private surgical clinic in Vancouver and a longtime advocate of loosening the country’s stifling restrictions agains private medicine, as their president in a secret ballot in Charlottetown.

Past president Ruth Collins-Nakai was quick to make with the “move along, folks; nothing to see here” song and dance:

“It is not necessarily a shift in ideology. I think you are seeing a level of frustration by doctors in terms of the lack of access to care. Physicians are frustrated by the fact they cannot provide the care patients need in a timely fashion.”

Couldn’t have anything to do with the current “envy-of-the-world” system being heavily composed of a bloated bureaucracy that hoovers up so much money in administrative costs and overpaid government unions now, could it?

As you probably guessed by now, the unions and their little Grit, NDP and assorted other lefty stooges are in full “EEK! it’s the end of the world!” mode. Just like they were right after Harper won the last election, but the world is still here, isn’t it? Volcanoes didn’t erupt, the dead didn’t rise from their graves, the sky stayed where it was and William Hung didn’t win a grammy. You’d think these boneheads would get bored of being wrong ALL the time…
